Topic Distribution Requirements
NCCP national component topics (airway, cardiology, trauma, medical, operations w/ 10% pediatric); local guidelines suggest patient advocacy (POLST, behavioral health), protocol review, documentation/QI, disaster prep, pediatric (EMR 1h, EMT 3h, AEMT/Paramedic 4h); All: BLS CPR; AEMT/Paramedic: PALS/PEPP equiv; Paramedic: ACLS. No other state mandates like jurisprudence etc.
